Hi, The pump arrived yesterday and I want to thank you for your very fast shipping. My other instawell pump quit working about 3 weeks ago and I use the pump to bring water from the lake to my poultry and rabbits. I've been using your pumps for a couple of years now and I think this is the best small water pump I've ever used. Thanks again for the fast shipping. Hope you have a great weekend, Candy Robinson

Today August 03-2007 (3 months after I submited complete payment)I got my TX450 delivered from Rockmaster (not Hydratek2000, to whom I made the payment). But guess what? NO Assembly Manual and NO Instructions Manual included .Swivel won't fit for a length of almost 1 inch.It is clear that the drive unit is a diferent model than the one required for the provided mounting plate. Most necessary holes for assembly NOT pre-drilled.Still no answers to my calls at the diferent phone numbers listed. It's a mess. But I guess that I came better off than the other guys who posted complaints against this company, at least I got something. We still have to see if it works!!! I wish good luck to all of you that haven't got an answer, and all the others who plan to buy :Think it Twice

Adam,I'm going trough the same ordeal as you sience May 9 . Today I found out that they (Hydratek2000 or Rockmasterdrills ) are offering the same product at exactly the same web pages but as : ROCKMASTERDRILLS at www.rockmasterdrills.com with diferent phone numbers and different address (about five blocks away in the same town).I also found a complaint against them for the same reason at SCAMclub.com (a free site for posting complaints), report 2212 dated 02/14/07. I wish that you contact me because I think we are victims of a big SCAM (about $ 2,500.00 each case)and I'm sure we are a lot and need to come together to act against this scamers. For All You Closet Home Well Drillers:

I bought a Hydratek2000 well drilling system- their 450 unit. There are some things one should know. First, customer service from Hydratek is worse than abysmmal, it is nonexistant. You can not order anything, if you are having troubles they will not talk to you. The equipment on the website looks great - do not be deceived. Their outstanding water swivel leaks after only a few hours use, the forever replaced drill bits are simply junk if you are drilling in anyting other than dirt or clay - hit a rock and you are through - the drill rod is 1 and 3/8 OD schedule 40 pipe in 5 foot lenghts that has standard pipe threads and collars on it - when you are drilling in anything other than dirt or clay those sections become screwed together so tightly that I have to use a 2 foot long cheater pipe on my wrenches to get these sections apart. Further, consider the fact that you might be some 150 to 200 feet to water - that means some 30 to 40 5 foot sections of pipe screwed together with standard pipe thread that you are going to take in and out of the hole at least 3 to 4 times. That is as many as 8 x 40 = 320 assemblies and disassemblies - each one taking as much as five minutes and that is if things come apart easily. My advice? Steer clear of Hydratek2000 and any of their products.

Finally, some good news. I have recently discovered the folks at A and D drilling. I ordered a rock bit and an adapter from them and got some sterling advice from Allan about well drilling. They actually answer email and phone calls, and help you with your problems. In future, I will deal with them exclusively. Hard lessons and not cheap either.
